Life saver!!! Kindle doesn't have the book I wanted anymore so when I got my new kindle I was upset I had the second book but not the first. Thank you so much know I got the first book again. Hi, I am wondering if someone can help me.
My parents both have kindle's under the same amazon account but each kindle is registered under their name. My mom bought a book but she sent it to my dad's kindle by mistake. She is asking me how to move it to her kindle and I am not sure how to move the book from one registered kindle to another. Would I just log into their amazon account and go to the manage kindle page and manually transfer that book from my dad's kindle to moms?

Amazon Kindle vs. Kindle Paperwhite: Battle of the budget ebook readers
I loaded it with hundreds of books. I recently bought a second Kindle Fire HD 7" so that I could leave one at work and not have to take it back and forth. I would like to have ALL of my books on the second kindle but I don't want to go through the at-a-time thing in "manage content" on Amazon. Is there a way that I can put all of my books on the second kindle without losing anything from the first kindle? On your new Kindle, just log in with the same Kindle account, and "Sync".
Soon all those purchased Kindle files will be shown on your new device. I have a kindle touch purchased in It won't switch on although it is fully charged. Thanks Mike. It does not export the marks and notes I've made on my last kindle. Epubor software will handle the original book but not including the notes and highlights. Sorry for the inconvenience. You have to be computer wiz to be able to follow the instructions, there are pages and pages of installing and deleting apps, and updating software and it's just way too complicated Learn More. To give you a better overall experience, we want to provide relevant ads that are more useful to you.
For example, when you search for a film, we use your search information and location to show the most relevant cinemas near you. We also use this information to show you ads for similar films you may like in the future. Like Verizon Media, our partners may also show you ads that they think match your interests. The next time they go online and try to sync, the apps and devices will discover they have been de-registered and log you out.
I think the Kindles will still continue to work, but the apps will not. First, go to the manage your content and devices page on Amazon, and select the "Devices" tab. After the new tab loads, look at the number of devices and apps listed. If the number is huge mine was over 50 at one point then you might want to select the dropdown menu shown in the screensnap below.
You can use it to limit the list to just Kindle apps or hardware. Once you have perused the list, you can remove an app or device by clicking on the 3-dot menu to the left of an entry. Select the de-register option from the pop-up menu. Then, when you see the confirmation menu, click the orange button to confirm that you want to deregister the device. Unfortunately, you're going to have to do this one device or app at a time, so it can get tedious by the time you've removed the 20th entry. But I still think it's worth the effort because once I removed all the dead entries, I was able to finally use that page to send content to my various devices.
Removing the dross also made it easier to send a newly purchased ebook to my current device when I am buying it.
